Verse of the Day:
You will seek me and find me, when you seek me with all your heart.”
— Jeremiah 29:13
Life Comes With Questions
If you’ve ever found yourself lying awake at night staring at the ceiling, wondering things like:
Does God really care about me?
Why does He let bad things happen?
How do I even know the Bible is true?
…
Then this series is for you.
We all have questions, especially in this world full of noise, opinions, and quick answers that don’t always satisfy us. It is easy to feel lost or uncertain. But, here is the good news. God is not afraid of your questions.
Faith Isn’t Blind
Real faith isn’t about ignoring doubts. It’s about facing them honestly and letting God’s Word speak truth into them. The Bible isn’t a book of fairy tales or empty comfort. It’s full of real people asking real questions and finding real answers in a very real God.
Think about it. Moses questioned his worthiness (Exodus 3:11). David cried out in confusion and fear (Psalm 3; Psalm 22). Job demanded to understand why he was suffering (Job 13:24). Thomas doubted the resurrection until he saw Jesus for himself (John 20:24-25).
In all of these instances, God met them right where they were. He didn’t push them away for asking. He, instead, drew them closer.
What This Series Is About
Over the next few weeks, we are going to walk through some of the Big Questions. Things like the following:
- Does God really care about me?
- Why does God allow suffering?
- How do I know the Bible is true?
- What is my purpose?
- Can I really be forgiven?
- And others…
These are not small questions. Lucky for us, the Bible doesn’t give small answers. God’s Word invites us to dig deep. It wants us to think, to wrestle, and, ultimately, to trust that He is big enough for our doubts and steady enough for our faith.
The Goal
This series isn’t about memorizing perfect answers or winning arguments. It is about discovering a relationship with the God who already knows your questions and still loves you more than you can imagine.
You don’t have to be afraid to ask. You just have to be willing to listen.
Prayer for the Week
Lord, thank You for giving us minds that question and hearts that seek truth. Help me to be honest about my doubts and to find answers in Your Word. Open my heart to know You better and trust You deeper through this series of Big Questions. In Jesus’ precious name, Amen.
